- Development of an automotive PEM fuel cell stack fulfilling the specification set out in the Auto-Stack Project (FCH-JU GA 245142) in three technology evolutions:
– Evolutions 1 and 2 will be built and tested in hardware
– Evolution 3 will be designed
- Key components will be developed to automotive standards and integrated into full automotive sized stacks
– Bipolar plates
– MEAs matched to BPP requirements
– Balance of Stack
- Component development will be done on an industrial manufacturing concepts
- Cost engineering will be carried out as across cutting activity to make sure the design meets automotive targets
